Brook Hopkins Brooke Hopkins (Tetik)
Owner, EYRT, AFAA Certified Personal Trainer, Yoga Life Coach, Yoga Body Bootcamp Master Trainer

Brooke is the founder of Sundari Power Yoga. She is an experienced certified Yoga Teacher, Yoga Body Bootcamp ™ Master Instructor, Yoga Life Coach, and AFAA Certified Personal Trainer. She is also a nationally qualified Bikini Competitor in the NPC. Prior to discovering her love for Yoga, Brooke was a successful real estate agent and Hospice volunteer. While supporting a close member of her family to health, Brooke found she stopped taking care of herself and over time, became overweight and depressed. See more on Brooke's weight loss journey below.

She decided to take back control of her life - in January 2011 she began eating healthier and running. While training for a half marathon that spring, she found that her body needed some loving and she walked into a yoga class. As the old adage goes – a journey of a 1000 miles, starts with one step – walking into that yoga class was Brooke’s proverbial first step. She fell in love with yoga and that love was evident to a fellow student, who suggested she become certified and share her passion for Yoga with the world. Brooke took her advice and she has been changing the world through yoga, fitness & good nutrition ever since!

Brooke has been honored by invitations to teach Yoga at various area studios –including Power of Your Om, Lululemon, Breathe the Art of Yoga, Wild Abundant Life, Community Soul Yoga, and several corporations. While she has enjoyed the opportunities to reach a large group of Yogis through these studios, she has always dreamed of running her own studio, where she can share her vision of yoga. Her dream is realized in opening Sundari Power Yoga, where she hopes you find peace on your mat through movement, breath, and stillness. Teaching from her heart, she hopes to bring you not only through an awesome physical practice, but a mental release as well.

By setting goals and continuing her education, Brooke has opened Sundari Power Yoga School - a 200 Hour Certification and has realized yet another dream - teaching others to give the gift of yoga!

Brooke lives in her hometown, Plainfield with her two sons.

chrissyGomez Chrissy, Assistant Manager, CYT, Yoga Body Bootcamp Instructor

The healing qualities of yoga are what led me to the practice over ten years ago. Struggling with severe anxiety, yoga became my outlet, my sanctuary and has helped me find my "calm". I received my 200 hour teacher certification in May of 2012 and am passionate about helping others and sharing what I know through the practice of yoga. Continually growing and learning is something I am so very grateful for. When I am not in the studio I am spending time with my husband, my pup or painting in my artist's studio. Enjoying time with family and friends whenever possible makes my heart smile. Chrissy brings joy and light to her students and encourages a playful, mindful practice. Her smile and happiness is contagious
